En kort, enkel sammanfattning av förra veckan, gjord på din Mac av dina egna mätningar.
The problem
Memory trouble is usually a pattern, not an event: it strains on weekday afternoons, or when two particular apps run together. A graph you look at once, right after something happened, rarely shows that.
The weekly report looks back over the last full week of your own readings. It says how much of it your Mac was healthy, what Hedroom gave back, which rules ran, and, only when the data supports it, one pattern.
How it works
- Collect. Hedroom stores one pressure level per minute while your Mac is awake and being watched. Time asleep, or with Hedroom off, is left out.
- Split. It shows the share of that time that was Healthy, Strained and Critical, in whole percents that add up to 100. A good week is healthy at least 85% of the time, a mixed week at least 60%, and anything below that is a hard week.
- Add the receipts. Memory given back (confident receipts only), the rules that ran and how many had no effect, and disk freed with how much has since come back as apps rebuilt their caches.
- Look for a pattern. If at least 30 minutes were strained and 60% of them fell in one four-hour window, it writes one sentence, naming up to three apps that each held at least 500 MB in most of those minutes. The sentence comes from fixed rules, not a language model.
- Deliver. On Monday at 9:00 it shows a notification you can turn off in Settings. If your Mac was asleep, it catches up for up to three days. With less than a day of readings it says it does not have enough yet.
What you will see
A sheet headed with the week, Monday to Sunday, and a one-line verdict such as "A good week. Your Mac was healthy 91% of the time." Then the Healthy, Strained and Critical split, memory returned, rules that ran and how many had no effect, disk freed with how much came back, and a heatmap of weekdays by hour. A cell shows strained when at least a tenth of its measured minutes were strained, and critical when at least two minutes were.
At the bottom are the pattern sentence (when there is one), Export PDF, and a link to Receipts. The Monday notification names how much memory was given back, for example "Your week: 21.3 GB returned".
A worked example
Example, not real data
A week with an afternoon pattern
Say your Mac was strained on most weekday afternoons, mostly between 2 and 6 pm, and in those minutes Zoom and Chrome were each holding over 500 MB. The pattern sentence would read something like: "Strain clusters between 2 and 6 pm, when Zoom and Chrome run together."
That is something to try, such as a rule that sleeps tabs when your Mac is strained, or closing one of the two. It is not a diagnosis. If the strained minutes were scattered through the week, the report would write no pattern at all rather than invent one.
Details and limits
What it will not do
- Skicka rapporten någonstans. Den byggs och stannar på din Mac.
- Skriva ett mönster det inte kan styrka med dina mätningar.
Limits
- En vecka med lite data ger en kort rapport.

Questions people ask
Does it use AI, or send my data to write the summary?
No. The pattern sentence is built from fixed rules on your own readings, on your Mac. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Why was my report short, or missing?
A week with less than 24 hours of measured time says it does not have enough yet. A week with little data gives a short report.
Can I turn off the notification?
Yes, in Settings › Notifications. The report stays available in Hedroom. Hedroom follows your Focus settings and does not override them.
What does "came back" mean for disk space?
After a cleanup, apps rebuild some of their caches. Hedroom re-measures those cache folders and reports how much of the freed space has returned.
